Where to go for float tube fishing - Huntington Harbor

One of my YouTube viewers contacted me and said he was getting a tube and asked if I would show him the ropes at Huntington Harbor for his first float and of course I agreed and so this is the result of that trip.

We both had a great time and I was so glad that he had a good experience for his first float. My new buddy, "Bassin' Rich."

We did a great little interview at the end where he talked about never catching a fish before at HH and how much he liked the Cumberland he bought, but unfortunately, the camera was out of memory and I didn't realize it, so it didn't get recorded. Bummer.

Anyway, here's my second video in the "where to go" series with my tips for fishing this particular spot in the live video after the "where to park" map stuff.

I enjoy making the videos. I'm having a ball out there and I hope the fun I'm having and my genuine enthusiasm for the sport comes through.

I'll be there Wednesday AM....

I plan on going to and documenting every salt water tubing spot I can find in So Cal, and then move on to freshwater! I'm really enjoying the variety of places. They each have their own feel. My over-all favorite so far is definitely HH.

I think I'll do Grissom next. It will always be my "home waters."

This is an awesome video. I normally fish Trinidad Island because of how easy it is to launch from the beach. I will definitely check out some of these other places. Thank you for the videos, they are very informative.

Thanks! Yeah, I've launched from Trinidad a couple of times, but I like Davenport a lot better for the inner harbor.
