Nice video Alakai.

I noticed your Deeper Pro floating and your phone in a waterproof bag on the hard apron. How are you liking it so far? Does the waterproof bag give you glare in the sun, or is it easier to see in the overcast?

Thanks for sharing

So it does the job but it does make it hard to see in the sun. I think I need a mount and have been thinking about the "arm clamps" they sell for cell phones. That's not the issue tbh though, the phone actually gets too hot in the bag and if you are using the gps, the battery drains to about 25% after 4 hours or so. Looking for other bags but really at HH I'm not convinced there are much changes in the bottom to even constitute a ff to use the gps function. Will let you know what I come up with

Nice video Alakai. I like the Zman Shroomz micro finesse jig in 3/16th ounce. You should give those a try with the craws that you are using. They seem to hold up pretty good on fish. I have broke two hooks when they got hung up in the rocks. I am going to try the Finesse TRD worm in coppertruese on one of those jigs when i go out next. Good job out there. Keep up the good videos.

Good job Alakai another great video you are doing great. I like that you stuck with the Zman and made it work for you. I will try the same next time I head out. I will try to stick with the Wackme Baits and put them to good use.

Thanks Toby, appreciate it. I've been reflecting on the zman outing and think that I need to really make a choice to either go lighter or heavier. I agree that those craws take a bit more finesse I used the 1/5 oz on the Shroomz finesse, maybe should have gone lighter with lighter leader. Tried the TRD green pumpkin and I have a chartreuse brownish Roboworm for Ned worms and as you saw I have the "Molting craw" and "The Deal" craws.

To go heavier, they actually have a power finesse set up with a heavier gauge hook with a longer shaft now. I will be using the Hula skirts during the next outing on the sleeper rod and will be coming back to Zman after three outings. Still behind on my learnings and catching up. Drop shots will be my next outing.

Funny you should mention those baits, I just saw Wack at the Seal Beach beach Bigfish store seminar last Sat. With limited experience, I was able to catch a sandy but used another company's version (Bass In the Hood) in my last outing at HH with a clear with purple glitter. I think the key to them is the diversity they offer. Seen people use them with swim heads and all kinds of lead on the bottom.
