So my mind is back on the legal halibut I lost last year or so.  I need a landing net that is compact and capable of handing a nice size halibut.  I am looking at one of these as it will fold down and become compact.  What do you all think any experience with any of these types of nets?

I have owned a flat net in the past, but it just seem to get in my way on the float tube.
So I ended up just using a lip gripper.

BOGGA-GRIP- That is what I always used since my days of surf fishing.
I brought all of my large Halibut aboard my float tube with it and just recently I landed my 21 pound Blue Cat using it.
It’s a great tool to have. You’ll just need to tether it to your float tube.
