Ok I lost a nice legal halibut this last Thursday. What do you guys use for a landing net I think I need to get me one soon.

No net for halibut- seen too many with tail injuries from nets.
I use Boga grip bungied to a D- ring.
I leave them in the water to mellow out when on the Boga, get everything situated on deck then up onto the tray.

Cool that was my down fall on Thursday. Had a beast and when I went to grab the lip with my grippers he did another head shake and off he ran. I have never been a fan of landing nets but this lost fish has me thinking. I would still prefer the gripers over a net.
