Hey guys, so there is this pawn shop near my house The I frequently visit.
Well, they were shutting the doors for good and letting go of all their stuff for really good prices.
Well ever since I’ve been going there, I’ve had my eye on two Trout sculptures and the guy would never sell them to me!
Well he finally did and they are awesome.
One is a Golden Trout and the other is Ranibow.
I took a pic of one I’ll post the other later! But check this one out
This is the Golden!

Some one has definitely put in a lot of hours of prep work, wood selection, carving time, painting and finally the mounting .... to create your beautiful wooden fish!

Your Trout would definitely add to my "Man-Cave" ... indeed!

Thanks for sharing with us ... the object that you've been admiring ... for so long!

My Grandpa would tell me ... "Dan ... with patience ... all good things will come to you in time"!
Well ... this time it definitely happened for you.   Congratulations!  Cool

That’s exactly why I bought them, to compliment my man cave where I do all my tying lol

Yes sir I agree, they are beautiful pieces.
One of my partners looked up the maker and he told me these are pretty pricey. But I’ll send you the name of the artist, maybe you can find some of his other sculptures, if you’d like.

Yes they are beautiful Dan, Thank you!

If there is one thing we learn, as fishermen and fisherwomen...I believe, its patience.
Your grandfather was a wise man.
Sounds a lot like mine.
