Taking the ideas from Dan and Jerdon, here's my set-up nearing initial launch.

1 1/4" PVC for main body/holders
2" PVC for Fish Finder
3" reducer for Fish Finder cup

Preassembled (With my youngest making sure his feet are in the way)

Nice set up!
There is a certain amount of pleasure in building your own holders just as you want them.

Great job on the DIY rod rack!
Now ... all that you need is to stir in some water and a few fish bites for the winning combination!

I look forward to your next fish report w/ pic's!

It looks like a small carabiner(?) type of thing going from the “D” ring on the float tube to the eye bolt on the rod rack. They are sorta hard to see, as their main body is black but the gate that opens/closes is silver.

Yes, it's two caribeeners on the top bar that clip onto the d clips beside the tackle pouch. There are two other clips on the bottom of the tube that I experimented with on the bottom two eyelets of the rod holder and bungee cords but found that it just makes the holder tilt out unnaturally when floating, so I just used the top two clips.
