Quad Mission Completed ... Solo Session in LAH, Sat 11-25-2018.
(This was my 59th Float Tube session of the 2018 Season).
I always like to take a few minutes before each session to calm my thoughts and to remember to give thanks; for being so BLESSED to have my health and for this opportunity of being able to be here today ... enjoying the water, all of it's abundance and this breath taking sunrise this morning .... amen!

Session Summary:
The weather started off cloudy and cold and then the clouds opened up to lots of warm sunshine, the water conditions were also perfect again ... but the fishing on the other hand was so-so at best ... but yet still lots of fun.
Location: Los Angeles Harbor (LAH)
Duration: 06:30 hrs until 10:30 hrs (4 hrs)
Sun Rise: 06:33 hrs,
Sun Set: 16:44 hrs, the days are still getting shorter as each new day arrives.
Moon Phase: Waxing Gibbous
Gray Light: 05:45 hrs.
Tidal Conditions: 06:00 hrs 3.6 ft, 07:00 hrs 4.7 ft, 08:00 hrs 5.8 ft, 09:00 hrs 6.4 ft, 09:42 hrs HT 6.2 ft , 11:00 hrs 6.0 ft ... etc.
Air temperatures: patchy clouds to clear ans sunny skies with temps from 54 deg to 67 deg.
Water temperatures: 63 deg
Wind: 06:00 hrs 1-2 mph WNW, 12:00 hrs 6 mph W.
Water clarity: translucent green in the shallows and gin clear blue in the deep channels.
Large Leaf Kelp Beds: spread out, patchy and healthy
Water Visibility: 6 - 8 ft
Tidal Coefficient: (CE) 89 in the morning, this is a high average stable rate.

Pelagic Bird Activity: I've been noticing more and more Brown Californian Pelican diving on the present bait near me.
Bait Presence: massive schools of 1" to 4" shiners were being chased by the larger fish and the were breaking the water's surface all around us to escape.
Distance kicked: .89 miles.
Calories Burnt: 462 calories if I had been walking, so I figure approx 500 calories were burnt while kicking for 4-hours.
Tackle Used: 1/4oz Sardine Green/Silver & Mint, 3/8oz Sardine Green/Silver and Mint colored HUB's
