Cumberland custom hard apron write up

Sp Dan gave me the inspiration to make this happen. This was not my idea. I just made it and would like to share my experience with you guys. This took me roughly 3 hours to make .

So for those who use a Cumberland and want a custom apron this is what you need and total cost.
Use your original PVC to save about 4 bucks I bought PVC and didnt even end up using it.
Corrugated plastic(I got the black on sale normal price was $7 ish bucks on sale was $5ish)
Stainless steel screws [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] 2" is what I used
Stainless steel nuts and washers both [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
A lid from the tough box from home depot (cant buy the lid separate which was a bummer) $8ish
Rivets aluminum $5ish
Stickers
So total cost I spent was $28ish (not bad)
I've you use the PVC bar that the tube already has that save you about $4
And if you have rivets already that'll save you another $6 bucks so roughly $18 bucks
And if you already have the stainless hardware that saves you more dont remember how much those were. Save even more if you already have a nice durable lid to use. Thanks

Thanks dude!!! I was stoked on the final outcome I'm sure I will need to make some tweaks to it but I wont know till it's on the water!!!

I like it and will give it a try.

Something that I did on my last float tube trip, is put a strong neodymium disc magnet on each side of my apron. I use it to put my hooks and swivels.
