With the new members we have here and the growth we have gone through as well as some of the changes (Good and not so Good).  I thought maybe its time to revisit our Mission Statement.  We are much more than just an online group and our reach is far.  Are we living up to what we say were are here for and as we plan for 2019 I for one will try my best to keep this statement in mind.

Mission Statement
The Float Tube Fishing forum is dedicated to the awareness and growth of this unique and exciting method of fishing for both experts and beginners. Through our global community and industry leading manufacturers, we aim to promote and teach safe and appropriate float tube fishing techniques as well as mentor the future generations of float tube enthusiasts.

What do you guys think are we still there have we lost our focus or have we just worked to change as we grow.  What can we do to be more true to our Mission Statement just the thoughts that were in my head this morning.  let's discuss this openly and plan for a great 2019.

Interesting. I had no idea there was a mission statement. I would focus on the basics of what you think the forum is about. Then just express them in the statement. For me, in my limited time on here I would think the primary aspects of the forum are thus:

1) Community - A centralized place to gather and talk about a sport we love.
2) Awareness - To share, promote and grow the way we approach the sport we love.
