A mission statement will be needed to do the workshop and derby in Nov. and or Dec. so I have written this one.  Please take a moment and changes it to what you think it should be.  There no wrong way to do this but there will be one statement that sticks out and looks like it will fit us best.  So don't be shy pick this one apart and we as a group will come up with a better Mission Statement together.

The Mission of the Float Tube Fishing Forum is to promote the growth and awareness of our sport to others, by teaching appropriate, and safe float tube fishing techniques as well as teaching the future float tubers to fish responsibly and protect our fisheries for the next generation.

Thanks

Think Big.

Maybe some how throw: A global community of members helping members.
Also the word "Pro" affiliation somewhere.
"Supported/endorsed/backed by leading manufacturers".
In there somewhere.

I'm just throwing S**t out there because to me a mission statement is also your first impression, your first sales pitch.
Gee, who are these guys?
Mission statement.... !

Number 3 is kinda long. I like the first one. Maybe throw in something about being respectful, although I suppose that might fall under the responsibly part.
