Solo Session At Newport Harbor This Morning.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Nothing but short bites, pulls and tugs for the first 2-hrs 20-minutes. I threw, jerked, popped and dragged HUB's, Yamamoto hollow Ika tubes, 3/16 Chartreuse Hammer heads w/ 3" Big Hammers (Sexy Shad & Margarita), D/S w/ 4" Gulp Watermelon Minnow for absolutely NADA!
I was already putting together in my head a ... "How I Got Skunked At NPH" report when by my surprise the bite just suddenly turned on! YAHOO!!
At 08:20 hrs my "skunk buster" was on board!
The bite remained strong until about 10:45 hrs when it just shut-off just as fast and sudden as it had began!
It was a beautiful day and the draining tide was more like a strong out going (flowing) river. I got to fish some new real-estate, which I enjoyed a lot because it presents a new and unknown challenge for me to step up to! lol
Tackle Used: 1/4oz Sardine Green/Silver, White Shad and the 3/8oz Mint colored HUB's, Yamamoto hollow Ika tubes, 3/16 Chartreuse Hammer heads w/ 3" Big Hammer (Sexy Shad & Margarita), D/S w/ 4" Gulp Watermelon Minnow.
SP Dan's fish count this morning: 16-fish today, 2-species and ZERO legals to report today.
(14) short Spotty's, best 13"

PLEASE .... always be completely respectful to the boat owners and their property ... their boats.
PLEASE ... always leave it cleaner than you found it!
So please grab a hand-full and Pitch-In!!
Thank you for taking the time to check out today's fish report!
Tight lines!
