Hi everyone! I made a new youtube video of scouting some fishing spots in Newport Harbor. Technically this on my inflatable boat, not tube. But, the inflatable boat is like a weird cousin of the float tube... so I guess it counts. Check it out!
**disclaimer video is 20 mins long**

Thanks buddy. I am trying to learn. This video was tough because we didn't get on many fish, but was still fun to be out on the water!

Do you have to register that as a boat when the trolling motor is attached??

Cool video and thanks for sharing.

Yes. Good question. The boat is registered in CA. As soon as a motor get's added to the boat, CA requires registration.

I hang the ID on a couple plastic plates on the front of the boat. I have never been hassled about it either. I actually get Coast Guard/Harbor Patrol coming up a lot telling us how much they like the boat. I asked them each time if I needed to have the registration if I only used the trolling motor. The answers were mixed 50/50. So, that's why I keep the registration on it. Law says "any vessel with a motor", or something similar. I wanted to play it safe Smile
