Nice video. LAB has been a grind lately. It should start heating up again soon.

It's not much better. 3 trips in the last few weeks to HH. Had to grind for every fish. On other news. I have procured a kayak, and will be seeing if I can test it out today in HH for an hour or 2. Smile

Which make and model Logan?
I owned the 2014 Hobie Outback with Mirage drive, Lowerance FF, Hobie live-well and all the fishing extras.

lol ... I’ve been toying with the idea again. Wink

LOL. I got the cheapy lifetime brand kayak. The angler model. Pretty basic. I live close to the Harbor and have been tired of missing good days due to wind or strong current. The yak will allow me to fish when the conditions don't permit on the tube. Calm down [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] haha, I'm no brutus!

Welcome aboard Logan.

Despite Alakai's dig, I consider anyone who fishes from any self-propelled craft to be on the side of the Angels.

When I got back into the kayak out here, I found it was a chore fishing around the docks and managing the boat in the little Pelican "sit in" that my daughter game me. So, I picked up a little paddle with an extendable handle at Walmart--cheap. With the handle shortened, I could use it one handed to maneuver the boat somewhat effectively--and could move short distances pretty efficiently by paddling like a canoe.
Then I went all in on a pedal drive--not sure that is an improvement over my little "sit in", ultra light weight boat. (It is easier to get the old body in and out of however.)

You might think about a one handed paddle if you are going to do close in fishing around the docks. BTW, some guys used to use ping pong paddles as well. I never tried that.

Thank you for the kind words. I will post some info about the yak in another post as to a) not hijack this thread and b) it's a kayak on a tube forum lol
