Dan that is an EPIC day on the water.
30 fish and a PB halibut to top it off. The plastic guards, the hard table, and Boga-Grips all helped. I don't know how many of us would have drug that thing up on or tubes, so great job brother.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jerdon,
Believe you me my friend, it was not an easy task getting that guy on top of my hard lap tray.
It’s jaw bone was almost too  Shocked large for my Boga grip to go over it!
And there were many times that I would miss the jaw grip and it would do it’s power dive to the bottom during its fight for it’s life .... then I would think to myself “what a strong fish” and that I had lost it ... this time for sure ... only to finally to win the battle and to get it on board!
What a battle ... what a releaf! Phewww!

I just got lucky again on another big butt!
I can’t wait to see what size that my next PB Hali will be!

Hi ya BobBfishing,
Believe me when I tell you that it was ... the BIGEST rush ever Sir!
I truly believed in my heart that I had lost it at least a half a dozen times before finally getting it secured on my lap!

I appreciate that you took the time to respond to my report! Thumbs Up

Sorry Dan, I didn’t mean to (attempt to) steal the spotlight. I’m still learning the correct way to post.

HUGE congratulations on landing such a big beautiful fish while angling from a tube. That monster would’ve probably pulled my inexperienced butt into the drink!

Hi ya MarkG,
Well ... thank you! and that was quite a fish that you landed from the surf as well!
I honestly believe that we all get a bit excited about our out of the norm extraordinary catches and we all just want to share it with everybody else.
I appreciate that you took the time to chime in Sir! Thumbs Up

Perhaps we could hook up for a session some time soon!

Oh well .... I guess it’s true about what they say.  Cool lol

Thanx Bob,
The on site chatter definitely helps to keep other FTFF members involved with the current topics on the FTFF site.
Responding on phones eliminates everyone the opportunity.
My 2-cents.

It was “one-hell-of-a-fish” for sure!
