Area fished: The Sail Cove
Air temp: 65 to 82
Water Temp. 78 to 80
Water Clarity: 10 feet and clear
Depth: 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM
4# Wackem Mini Splitz Orange Justice
6# Split shot various 4 inch worms
8# Zoom Fluke Stick Watermelon Split Shot
10# Rapala CD Silver Black
15# 1/2 ounce Football Jig
I got a chance for a quick session Friday morning and launched from Sail Cove again and zig zagged about to deeper waters. I had planned on working shallower, but a group of youngsters showed up had music on so loud the ground was shaking. Lake Perris gets crowded on the weekends. So I backed up and mainly worked the 30 to 60 foot range on structure that was previously shoreline and weed beds while listening to their music some 300 yards away. I bounced my jig until I found this guy 54 feet down.

30 pound braid to 15 pound fluoro and this is the deepest bass I have caught at Perris.
