Lake Perris Marina closing

I just found out that the Lake Perris Marina will be closed on March 1, 2020. No more rental boats and people that have their boats moored at the marina docks, need to have them removed by Feb. 28th. Right now the marina store is empty. The lake will remain open for private boating, float tubing, kayaks, shore fishing, etc., just no marina services. Word has it that the company that runs the Diamond Valley Lake boat rentals will take over the Perris Marina. Supposedly they will build new docks and hopefully allow private boat mooring once again.

Wow that is big news hope its a good thing all the way around crazy thanks for sharing.

I was wondering what would be next. The docks have received no maintenance for 10 years or more, dilapidated is a good description. They have been talking about a big project because of the 2028 Olympics possibly rowing at Perris. All new everything and stands to watch rowing events.

I hope to see some drawings of their plans next.
