Hi ya folk’s,
First of all I soaked the HUB jig-heads in a 409 for a week and then I soaked them in other degreasers
I tried to use a nylon brush but it got all gummed up with some gluey substance that they use to lubricate the Owner jig heads when they slip their jigs into their HUB tube bodies.
I talked to GT about my brush gumming up, he told me that he had cleaned some as well using a brass bristled brush with some good results ......
So ...... I soon after went to Home Depot and I purchased myself some brass bristled brush’s and started to go-to-town scrubbing on the 124 HUB /Owner jig heads that you see in front of you in the pic.
I scrubbed, washed, dried, coated hook wire with fine oil, Super-glued missing eyes on all the jig heads except for one.
Can you find it?
After I finished gluing eyes on I coated the entire jig-head and wire and hook again with fine oil, for it’s storage and in order to keep the hook points sharp.
All I’ll need to do now for a while ... is to just buy replacement HUB tube bodies!
Don’t dismiss any shine and or glares for an eyeball.
Recovered:
(3) 5/8oz jig-heads
(30) 3/8oz “ “
(91) 1/4oz “ “
