11st Cast ... BAM! Empty 1st Cast ... BAM! Tue Aug 04, 2020 10:16 am

LAH Sundowner, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM

Wind: 4 mph down to 1 mph when leaving
Water Temp: 65 deg on surface of water
Air Temp: 74-72 deg
Tidal Conditions: 6 pm 3.4 ft, 7 pm 4.4 ft, 8 pm 5.4'
Moon Phase: Full Moon

First cast ... grabbed and landed! A 14" LEGAL Spotty.
My "Skunk Buster" was on-board within 60 seconds!  
Shocked OH OH! Call me superstitious ............

WELL ...  Mad  not another bite that would stick for 40 minutes and then my last fish (another Spotty) was landed at my launch site as usual at about the 2 hour mark and at my session's cut-off time.! lol

Here they are:   AND ... YES ... YOU ARE SEEING SPOTS BEFORE YOUR EYES!  Smile Ha ha ha!

Although it kinda makes me wonder why you would want to leave the launch spot? confused

Believe me when I tell you Jerdon that it has crossed my mind 100 times since THAT grab.
Ever since THAT time, I will now lower my drop shot first and then I stay in the launch area; stealth with very lil’ fin movement, for a good 30 or 40 minutes before leaving the area.
It just seems to be a first cast and last cast spot.
