Los Angeles Harbor (LAH) 10-18-20,
I always like to take a few minutes before each session starts ... to calm my thoughts and to remember to give thanks to HIM!

For having received the blessing of good health and for this opportunity to be here today ... to be able to enjoy the water, with all of it's abundance and to take-in the breath taking new day .... amen!
Session Break down:
I woke-up late (6:00 AM) this morn and so I decided then-and-there that I'd fish locally today rather than to fish an-hour away from home, it ended up being a very good call!
I was really uncertain to how I was going to approach this area today ... I just couldn't get a gut feeling, so I put the control of my fins in His hands ... to compass me to where I should be fishing today. His will!
So, at 40 minutes into the session I put a lil' 20" skunk-buster "pancake" Halibut onto my lap-tray ... and soon it was followed by a lil' 9" Green-backed Mackerel.
I then kicked over to the docks where I was able to shoot under the docks and I was blessed to be able to yank a healthy Legal 17" Spotty out of there, plus I landed a few more really quality Spotty's.
TODAY! .. I hooked into the strongest running/pulling fish that I have ever experienced while fishing on a float tube ...
this fish gave me a BUTT kicking during a 10 minute long hard battle of full-wood being bent ... with lonng ZZzzzzzz!! hard line ripping power pulls! It physically spun me literally 360 deg 4.5-times; while in front of witnesses, they were just a hooting!
When all other fish would have been spent or would have slowed down from being exhausted from the battle ....... NOT THIS FISH ... not this 3.6 lb. 22" dynamo of a Bonito from Tasmania ... it was just getting started with power pulls where most other healthy fish would have surrendered by now!! WHAT A FISH!
I COULDN'T WIPE THE GRIN FROM MY FACE!
So still shaking after the battle and excitement ...I moved just a lil' bit further along the wall toward a short broken-down ol' dock and I hooked into and landed my last good fish of the day, a healthy Legal 24" Halibut ... and is my [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] legal Halibut for this Season. Anther NICE FISH ... eh?!
