The Pro-side (IMO) of it is .... that you can get some really fantastic footage of how you’re possible PB fought you up to you landing it!  

The Con-side (IMO) of it is .... that you have to tie (2) two more knots-in-line above your lure which may or may-not increase your chances of a knot failure.
It could also change the action of your particular bait being used (if the camera is heavier than the bait being used), possibly causing a decrease in the bite.
If some fish are line-shy then what are fish with a
camera-in-the-line?

Bottom line ... I would tie one on just for “curiosity’s sake” alone and to see what it see’s underwater! Now this could be really cool folk’s!

PS ..... I would not want to get a solid snag to where I had to break my line, hoping that the line would break at the bottom of the camera attachment and not at the top of camera attachment!
PSS ..... I would definitely like to have one of these tied on my line when I land my next 25” to 37”+ Halibut!
