Ya my wife wants a kayak she love it I have been looking but when I have the money I cannot find a good one. Or when the good ones are affordable I don't have the money.
I think if I find a good kayak for here we could go together I could fish my tube and she could yak. I am going bakc to Craigslist lets see if I can find one now. cyclops

While launching saturday from NPH at the harbor patrol beach, these kids pulled up in a old little honda civic and had not 1, but 2 kayaks on top. The hood was slightly bowed, but man these kids could care less and was just happy to get out and fish at any cause. They had a really great setups. Bait tanks, several rod holders, nice fish finders etc. They said they go out often in search of big hali's just outside the harbor. I always wanted to get a yak, but never had the room to store one or transport one. Now I have a truck and a 2 car garage and seriously thinking about getting a 2 seater so me and the old lady can paddle around for fun, but I can also take it out fishing when on the side.

Maybe next season.

Well if you ever want to yak NPH let me know. I would love to try out a yak.

Not sure if you can bring both down at once time, but the harbor patrol beach seems to be where all the yakers launch from.

Have you kayaked before? If not before putting all your gear in or on your boat I would take the time to get a feel for it first, (last thing you need is to lose any gear). Second you will need an anchor as any little wind will move the kayak, and tie anything you do not wish to lose to your boat like your main paddle. Also bring a safety kit, you never know. Stay in shallow water until you get a good feel for it.
