The ice has only been out a couple weekends in southern Wisconsin and water temperatures are still in the upper 30's. But some pre-spawn chunks are starting to get shallow. Really warm waders are the key!

Love this time of year in Big bear as rainbows get real active and some of the biggest smallmouth, northern strain largemouth get shallow.
