Bart Hall Show Mar. 29th thru Apr. 2nd

That is right the Bart Hall Show Mar. 29th thru Apr. 2nd. if you did not know this is the ever popular Fred Hall Show that we have all none and loved for years. The name was changed for legal reasons. The shows this year were flipped around so they started in San Diego and are now at Long Beach. Are you going? When are you going? I will be there more then likely on April 1st. If anyone else is going list the day and time maybe we can have some meetups at the show this year.

My dad and I, (Phenix Baits) will have a booth at the show. I'm not sure of the location yet. Also I will be doing seminars each evening at 5 PM at The Daiwa Saltwater stage; Fresh Water Bass Tactics for Saltwater. I'm not sure of the location yet. Stop by and say hello. It always nice to put a face to a name.

I went to PCS a couple weeks back, not sure if I'll head to the FHS though.

Worm King is back in business?

Has anyone been yet to Bart Hall I am still planning to be there Saturday. If you are going on Saturday let us know so we can keep an eye out for you maybe grab a drink together.

I won’t be able to attend the show this year but I do hope that all of you; that do attend, will get some really good deals and fill your gear with all the necessary things that you’ve been wanting in order to set yourself up for a great fishing season!

Daeley and I went Wednesday night . Got there at 6 , got the twilight deal . In for half price . Grabbed a cocktail and walked around for a couple hours. Got some decent deals on some lures and spent a lot of time talking to Bill Varney , the surf fishing guru. Dae and I love surf fishing local waters and loved talking to him and getting some tips and a couple goodies from his booth . Didn’t see any float tube stuff there. Show was way smaller than it used to be but we enjoyed just going. And of course lotto dreaming in the million dollar Boston Whalers on the way out .

I actually ended up there today. Was not to usual Fred Hall or now Bart Hall but it will take a year or more to get back to it's old self. Ran in to an old friend from my Ambulance days he is now pro staff for Golden State Custom Baits.

I used to love to surf fish!
That’s all I did before I was introduced to float tube fishing.
At one time I was a member of the swat team (for 6-years) on FNN, have you ever heard of the surf fishing group?
We range from Malibu down to Carlsbad.

Haven’t spent any time on FNN.  Sounds like fun.  I mostly fish South Bay waters from Hermosa to Torrance Beach but we do hit the Newport Jetties and Bolsa area for spotifin once in a while. At the end of April we are going to Jalama Beach for camping and fishing so can’t wait to go after big spring barred surf perch. Hopefully conditions will be in our favor . It’s been a battle the winter with storm after storm. The water has been chocolate milk and waves have been unfishable.
