Jumbo bluegills and slabs 10-22

no float tube, but some nice fish still

I got up North to chase some big slabs and bluegills with Chad "crappiesniffer" and his friend Joel.
We had a blast nailing big sunfish in 23 ft. I had my best luck jigging nightcrawlers
a foot or 2 off the bottom. The crappies came on a tugsten jig with a little atom jumbo wedgee, I also boated some slabs on a Northland mimmic minnow.

The Panfish master at work again, I wish I lived just a drive away would love to fish some waters with you buddy.

Holy Toledo ! Those are some BIG gills! Only a coupla places down here that we get gills that big. And only at certain times of the year. I would love to hook one of those on my 7' 11' 4wt.!

Gotta love Minnesota lakes everywhere I have been there twice but on buisness and no time to fish but I would love to back and FISH this is the only place that I have ever seen people fishing off the freeway onramp cause there are tiny lakes on many of the onramps/offramps outside St.Paul

I fish for gills and redears summertime at Lake Perris, caught my share this year but nothing that big. Great to see the different sun fish that are out there.
