What is happening to our Float Tube World

I know I have been absent for a little while. Please know I am still here and dedicated to what we have built. I have been busy with all the off shoots from this form, which a lot of time on Patreon.

I have a question with Classic Accessories no longer selling float tubes what is happening to our float tube world here in the US. Now I know some are going to say you (meaning me) have been working on bring none US companies to us. Yes I have and I feel we should be able to have choices in what we need and want. But with Classica Accessories closing and companies like Caddis limiting what they sell or choice here are dwindling.

If you did not know Caddis is down to only 3 tubes. The do have a hybrid that I have heard both good and bad about. Of course there is always Outcast and the Fish Cats and all there boats as well as Dave Scadden. They have some great options as well. There is Creek Company but I have not heard much good about them in sometime. There is also Bucks Bags which has some has about 6 total float tubes and pontoons available. It is good to know there Roughneck is still on sale for $300 which is amazing.

There are a few smaller companies out there as well I will share those with you when I find them again. It is just feels like we are started to loose our choices here. Maybe that is me over thinking or maybe it will be a good thing to open the market to companies like Float Plus and other Europe companies. Just wondering if anyone else is feeling the same or am I just over thinking.

I just purchased a Cumberland float tube from Amazon.
It’s sad to think that Classic Accessories is going out of business.
They have been my float tube of preference for the past 8 1/2 years.
Thank you for the update.
Perhaps we should all focus on buying float tubes “made in the USA” and keep our own businesses alive.

I agree SP Dan I just wish they would step it up out here. But that is just me. Even Dave Scadden here in the US are all made in China.

Copies or were they from there all along?

You found the secret. I was looking to start my own brand years ago with our logo on it. It's not that simple but you can get almost anything in the market now a days with no branding.
Seven Bass got pissed at me because I was marketing Maxxons 240 which was very similar to there Jungle operator. The accused maxxon of stilling there idea. They were not happen when I pointed out that boat could be bought blank and you add what you want to add to it.
