It's true soft plastic worms are often considered the best lure for bass fishing due to their versatility and effectiveness in various water conditions.
I have to say they have worked for me better then most lures for bass fishing. Do you agree or is there something different that Works for you.

The darker colored “Dark Sleepers” have been very effective for me in both salt and fresh waters while targeting Bass. Doc introduced me to them while I was slaying halibut in LA Harbor.

Dark sleepers are pretty cool lures.

Yea,

Half my bass set ups are worms.
I typically bring 4 rods:
Wackey
Reaction Bait like Rapala CD or other Crank Bait
Drop Shot
Jig or other bottom bouncing set up.

Add split shot worms or Texas rigged depending on what structure I am looking at.

OK more than half are worms

I have had my best success with a locally made “5150” plastic worm on a drop shot rig.
My best day here was 16 LM Bass in 1.5 hrs!
