Fishing the LAB 11/27

I posted this, once but I think I didnt went through, hope It dosent post twice.

I went to white point in san pedro instead. Tie was too low, no
Bites. Then I move, to san, pedro pier and got 1 white croacker. And is all. Then at 6pm left to catalina to dive and cought 1 lobter! A big one

Great catch Aqua..lobster..nice! Just make sure to keep yourself nice and warm Eddie. Soups on?! Lots of chili and black peppers will help to sweat the bug out.

Actually I gave it to a guy that hooks me up all the time at the scuba shop. 3.5 lbs ! My bigest so far. And only one for the night. Feels good thanx all !

That bug is almost bigger than you! 3 1/2 lbs is a big bug, good job!

Back in the early 90's we would get our boat limit in 1 or 2 pulls using hoop nets at Dana Point break wall. Largest one caught was just over 10 lbs. Then some wise guy did an article with greater outdoors and they ran a huge front page story. The next season every yahoo with a dingy was throwing hoops in DP and slowly each year their was less and less bugs. Now your lucky to get a legal if you fished a few hours.

I'm really curious now. What is LAB stands for? Lower .. Beach? May have to haul my gears out there when the wife and kids are playing on the sand.

Ah! Thanks. Well, forget about the beach part LOL unless they want to stare at ships on concrete beach line.
