Was in the water by 1:45, put in at the ramp. Found some protection from the wind fishing the shore of Fletcher Island across from the boat dock throwing Thomas Buoyant spoons caught two small Rainbow and had one do a tail dance and spit out the spoon. When I pulled in my stringer the first trout I caught was gone, Bass?

Cuyamaca is float tube friendly and very easy to cover a lot of water. Their is a $5.00 fee for pressure wash but if you have them wire your fins to the boat when your done. when you come back they just clip the wire if you hadn't used the tube since and they don't recharge you. They are stocking Trout on a monthly basis and Trout fishing is really heating up. I will give updates on future stocking dates in my next report.

The wind at Cuyamaca is pretty much a given, and this time of year can be really cold!
