Sunday Apr. 23 Lake Cuyamaca

I took the twins fishing at Cuyamaca. It was a beautiful morning. We arrived an hour and a half before sunrise and watched the meteor shower. The milky way was stunning as it sprawled across the firmament.

Oh and did I mention we caught trout. Six in total with one tipping the scale at just under four pounds. All in all a great day on a beautiful body of water.

I luv that lake …. its water level is like I’ve never seen it before … super full! Got to luv this Winter’s rains!

Lake Cuyamaca is about 35 minutes from my house in Ramona. We go there often for a sandwich and a beer.

It's awesome! I also saw a guy bank fishing for trout reel in a 9 lb. Bass. It's belly was the size of my calf just full of eggs. I've never really bass fished that lake, but maybe I should!
