Sweet, that's for that info on the launch site. I hate to say it but I have always drove right by it and never paid any attention to that area.
So how was fishing?

Yo Miller,
I got skunked, I lost something at the trench in about 40 feet of water. It picked up my shaky head and hauled ass for a bit, but I never got the hook set. My only hits were in "The Trench" about 40 feet down on a shaky head. Nothing else worked for me today.
Water temp was 66 degrees
I was out from 11:30 AM to 2PM or so.

I had planned on fishing shallow to the island and back from the boat launch in the cove. It was too muddy to deal with from there.

the water has for sure gone down again , they said it would drop another 2-3' and then no more.

Miller never fished the The Trench or Canyon ? Man thats where a ton of swimbait , bama rig fish are caught . Drift a Huge Worm 10" like strawbery jelly worms on Carolina rig and you have a chance at the huge bass and the cats down there
