Lake Perris 6/7

I went out to Perris this morning with the hopes of fishing till noon or later. My grandsons are out of school next week so I wanted to make a stop to chase the BlueGill.

Air Temp: 61 
Water Temp: 72
Time: 7:30AM to 9:30AM
Split shotting Redworms was all I had time for

 I found a couple right away and was happy with that.

I somehow got a hole in my waders since my last trip and was noticeably taking in water, so I decided to  cut my day short. Sitting on the bank looking for the hole in my wader this little guy attached himself to the hook.

Nice going! You need to get your grandsons out there! Rent a boat and take them to the tire reef area but stay out away from the weeds and moss in about 15' of water. Use "my" rig and the kids should catch some big Bluegills!
