The Fishfindermounts Lake Perris fish off will begin by 6am on the water time around 7am and will run till Noon.  We will all meet at Sail Cove for check in and, a quick review of rules.
This is a lure only contest no bait of any kind allowed, all park rules apply and we are only doing catch and release so please make sure to have a digital camera available.  Also it would be wise to have a digital scale as well.  I will have a simple marker for each contestant to have with the day of the event so we know all fish caught were on the day of the event.
We have 5 items to give away all from Fishfindermounts.com we have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize as well as 2 runners up prizes to giveaway.  We will make this as simple as possible the heaviest Bass win’s 1st place, the heaviest Bluegill wins 2nd place and 3rd will go to the most bass caught on the day.   The runner up prizes will go to the first fish caught and the smallest fish caught.
In the event of a tie for anyplace we will look at all photos taken and determine a winner by who caught the most.   In the event that we have a tough day and there are very little fish caught we will give prizes away by random drawings at Noon using a random number generator.  Also the possibility of a person winner 2 or more categories is there so you can only win one.  Example if you landed the first fish of the and also landed the heaviest bass, you can only win one, so you will take the greater prize, the heaviest bass and the 2nd fish caught on the day is now be the winner of the runner up prize.
Guys this is a simple and fun gathering meant to hangout and have a great day together, let’s treat it that way.  We will all have fun hangout just enjoy the day, and a few will go home with some new Fish Finder Mounts system for their hard work.  See you guys at Lake Perris.

Also for those that are wondering below is where we are meeting inside the park (Sail Cove) is the Yellow Circle and the Red Circle is the gate we are entering in.

Any one got any advise on what baits to go buy for perris? And is it true that this lake is a great dropshot lake?

Check my Perris reports for what has worked for me the last month or two. Lots of reaction baits. It looks like a weather change is coming this week so everything could different come this weekend.

Perris is a good drop shot lake when things slow down with purples and greens about 4 inches being steady producers.

It is almost time guys so anyone else what to confirm they are going to be there for the event. I will be at the Sail Cove area for Check in / Sign in and will be there till everyone is in the water. I will have the stickers that I owe to those that bought already. I will also have some extra for people that would like to by the day of ($5 per sticker)
Gate fees for those that signed up before the 20th of September will 50% covered and you can pick that up from me before you launch. Remember if you signed up after the 20th which is anyone after the 35th member sign in there maybe be no 50% gate fee covered for you. Hey $5 is $5 right, I am looking forward to seeing everyone there.
We should have a pretty good turn out and we might be surprised with our biggest gathering yet, it is possible. Either way we need to make sure we get some great pictures guys and I would really like to a picture of us in the water in semi-circle can we do that. Cool
