I have about 5 hours to kill in Van Nuys area tomorrow. I just want to fish the time by. Anyone know of anything fish-able up there? Not looking to tube just wet a line and kill some time with out driving too far from the area.

Dano, thats where I ended up. No Bass they say...but cat (got one) and other fish. Very "fish" active lake with no pressure. I think I was the only person fishing. Fish everywhere! You can tube but maybe not a good idea. Icky water. Tons of shad and trout jumping (saw the tails). Bob Sand's tackle shop just down the street - nice guys mostly saltists. A very nice couple of hours and no skunk.

No complaints!
