Hey guys, im planning on going up to big bear in a weeks. Was planning on getting out on the tube and trying to get some trout out there. Does anybody have any tips/tricks for that place? Good spots, good baits, lures, etc? Thanks!

Hi fwalker, I believe in order to launch your tube at Big Bear you need to get your FT inspected for a certain musical (I'm sure some one will help with the name). It cost around $40, once you are certified you are good to go. The trout are very active in the winter so you should have fun.

I was there for Troutfest the action should be great with the colder weather here.
But I saw the most action by the pumphouse between the buoy line and the shoreline.
