All fish are approved by length, in the event you catch a large trophy fish be sure to both measures and weigh the fish. Measurement and weight will be needed to verify the largest species of fish caught.
More being cut down
1. First, you can score an extra 2 points per inches over the minimum length and a minimum of 5 fish posted per week. Example if you caught a Large Mouth Bass, minimum 14" and it measured 18". You would get your 20 points and you would also get an extra 8 points which would get you 28 points for the one fish. The limit of 5 fish per week would get 140 points for the week and the extra points for fish longer then the minimum length would score you more points in the week.
2. Challenge points. First, if you catch any 3 species on the approved tournament list of legal length in one week (defined as Monday - Sunday), you will receive 10 extra points. These challenge points can only be scored once in a week and cannot be a combination of freshwater and saltwater fish. It can only be one or the other.
3. Next is the longest fish twice a month awarded every 2nd and 4th week of the month. You can score an extra 10 points if you land the longest fish of the month. These points will only be award every 2 weeks and there will be 2 winners in the category one for the Saltwater and one for Freshwater category (you cannot win both). Judges will make the final call on the winner so be sure to get those measurement pictures taken clearly.
4. Finally Longest in all species. You can win an extra 5 points for having the longest fish of each species at the end of the Tournament. You can win multiples as well as freshwater and saltwater if you do have the longest fish in each species category. Example, at the close of the tournament you have the longest Large Mouth Bass, Catfish, Carp, Spotted Bass, and Halibut, you will receive 25 extra points to your final total.
The strikethrough rules will be pulled just to declutter our rules
You as before need to show that you are fishing from a float tube as well as have the tournament card in your pictures.
All pictures must be posted on our forum in a designated thread There will still be a max of 5 fish posted per-week and like above the week will be Monday through Sunday. This year we will start on a Monday and end on a Sunday.
