I am just getting back into fishing after a many year hiatus. Just purchased a Cumberland float tube and getting prepared for my first outing. My time is limited now, but next year is my retirement year so it is on then. Any suggestions for places that are good for the float tube to be put in the water around Modesto would be appreciated. Of course good fishing spots also.   Smile  Thanks,

Tim

ribetim welcome back to the water. You are starting off with a great float tube. I am not familiar with your area but we will get you some info soon I am sure.

Welcome to the forum Tim,

The Cumberland is a great choice. I hope you can share some pics of fish from the Central Valley soon.

Welcome to the group. I haven't ventured that far North yet. Furthest I've gotten to is lake Piru and Castaic. Both good places in my opinion.

Welcome to the forum ribetim,

It's good to hear that you've found your way back!
Sorry, I am of no help to you in your area but someone will probably chime-in soon.
I definitely look forward to reading some fish reports from you in the not-so-distant future!

Tight-lines!  Cool
