Jika Rig Builds

Its easy to save a little if you try. I picked up a split rig plier and 200 pc. split rig set for 12. Just add drop weigts and worm hooks and BAM you have Jika Rigs ready to go. I have been using this rig in the saltwater for a few years now and for me the work great. Your lures gets to the bottom fast where you want it. And dragging it as you kick
or go with the current imparts some great action. You should try one if you have not yet.

I thought that was a Tokyo rig?

I think that is where it was developed but I know it as a JIka Rig either way it works.

So they are different here is the Jika like i am making

I have not tried the Tokyo rig yet. Mostly because I have everything to assemble the Jika Rig at home.

Interesting... Never tried either of those but I might.

The Jika rig on top is factory and the Jika rig on the bottom is my DIY assembly, I use the Owner 1/0 JigRig wide-gaped off-set hooks.
I could have used a split ring to assemble but I didn't, I wanted a little bit of height above the weight.
