I wonder if Ketchum tackle would be interested in being a sponser for the newport event. I know he opens up super early for the balboa anglers club tournaments that go on. Next time i go there ill talk to them about it. Or maybe his and hers flyshop? The lady there is really nice and she makes great flys!!!

OK guys we are off and running now. We have locked in our Grand prize or should I say Prizes. Last night I contact this company and they were more then happy to provide there product to be there grade prize for this years toy drive. So here are the 2 major items that you can count on as our grand prizes.

Do to the Spill in Newport Beach area I am going to move the Newport Event to the Naples area in Los Alamitos Bay.  I know that we still have time to see if this is really going to affect the Harbor but just to be on the safe side I will make the call.  There is plenty of room at the Los Alamitos Spot for us all and easy access to the water.  We have done events here before and so it will work out just fine.  

So we have moved the Newport Event to Naples Island Los Alamitos Bay Nov. 28th

Ok we are at 10 for Lake Perris I know this will grow so if you are going to be able to make it please add your name to the list. Even if you are a maybe that is OK as well. The list is just so we have an idea of how many are going to possible show.
Also remember the Newport Harbor Event was moved to Naples Island Los Alamitos Bay. I will be sharing more details on both events. Question: What wins the grand prize exactly? Also if I donate the 10 instead how do u know its for this?

OK so for each event I collect toys from everyone that shows. I have a list of who donated and how many toys they donated. We hold the on the water raffle the day of each event before everyone heads out to fish and give away some prize packs. After all is said and done we then bring both list from each event together and add create the Grand Prize Raffle list. For those that could not make an event they can send toys or donate cash and that also goes to the grand prize raffle as well.

The Toys should be a $10 value (of course this is the honor system) which means each Grand Prize Raffle Slot is a $10 value. So those that donate cash get a slot for each $10 donated ( Not to exceed 10 spots ) The Grand Prize Raffle will happen sometime after the first week of December ( Date to be announced ).
