Thanks for the info Jeff.

I mainly fish the salt and my go to bait is always 3" or 4" grubs rigged on a 1/4 oz head. The most important thing to remember is to try and keep the in contact with the bottom. This means you need a slower retreive.

Give grub fishing a shot and you will start catching more fish!!!

Later

What color heads are you looking for?
I can probably do up some.
How heavy of a hook do you prefer?

Chartreuse with red& black eyes..I know, sounds funny but..they tend to work better with eyes on them. I'd be happy to pay or trade for some in 1/4 oz with thin wire #2 hooks.

Let me know if it's doable. Thanks

I've heard these lizard fish are great bait, especially for halibut. How do you fish these? I guess you'd need a well on your tube? or just snout hook the lizzie on another rod and send it out? Do you troll it? or just let the fish run? Sorry if that's a basic question.. I've never fished live bait. Thanks. -Jay Cool

I could swear I replied to this.???

No footballs in the salt, only in fresh water.

Anyway, the hook is a size 2 thin wire mustad.

If you want one that I have, let me know. Thanks
