I recently ordered a Creek Voyager frameless pontoon boat. In the Cabela's catalogue the boat was light blue which I figured would match with the sky from a fish eye view looking up. The boat that came was bright purple.

All fisherman are aware that fish can see color, although it varies a lot with depth. Purple is the far end of the spectrum and has the shortest wavelength in the prism spectrum. It is visible to a greater depth than other colors. I wouldn't wear a purple shirt to fish in , so I sent it back.

Has anyone had good fishing success in brightly colored boats? I would like to hear what people have to say on this topic.

Most boats are a different color on the bottom. I have Yellow, Red, Blue, Green, & New one is White. I wear Pink, Purple, a lot of bright colored clothing, but I fish at least 30' away from me.

Yeah, orange is my favorite color so I am decked out in it too. I think it does to an extent. Aside from mine being bright orange, I also wanted the safety aspect of it. Where I will be fishing can get crazy at times. Not to concerned about the fish issue in the reservoir, but I am in some of my ponds.

Color does not matter on your tube , but noise sure does , if you have something playing music , how we kick into a area we are fishing , if you let one rip accidentally in the water then the fish are outta there ...

Now that one is debatable if that is sound or aroma issue. No

Ya I don't think color of your tube really matters because you are not natural in the water either way you look at it. Sound is important you need to make as little sound as you can, and I say a little sound because you make sound how every you do it.
More important I think is your distance from your fishing hole. I have found when I am fishing near a dock if I am fishing start down next to dock below myself I don't get hit often. But when I make a longer cast into that location, I seem to get hit more often. The next challenge for me is to start setting the hook.  Embarassed
