[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Well Massfisher and the Konacrush met at Hogans bait and Tackle to pick up some Big Hammers and Mass had some line put on his reel and we were off got to the harbor at 11:25am , on the water by 12:00.We launched from the boat launch (FYI just pay the $10 dollars to park at the parking lot where the boat owners park there truck and trailer) cause Mass and I got a $45 dollar ticket for not being back in time we were out for what I thought was 4 hrs just in time not really we were walking to our trucks and the parking lady was putting the ticket on massfisher's truck and mine already had one thanks lady we were 25min late. I want to let MASS tell his fishing report. I got skunked but had an awesome time fishing with him he's a good partner to fish with and I'm looking forward to doing it again here are some pic's and mabey a video tight lines my fellow floater's[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

T&C lures were the bait and the big hammer I should of took the one of the T&C lures he offered me DAMM those were the baits of the day gotta get some

Did he drop shot for the hali's?

nope just a slow retrieve he did really good now he wants to get a fish finder and I want some T&C lures for the next outing lol

wtg guys, yeah those tc baits are pretty good. I use a different name brand but they are the same thing.

Kona thanks for posting the pics man. It was a good day on the water except for 3 things...it got cold as hell and i had no sweatshirt, i had to pee like a race horse, some lady thought it was a good idea to give us some $45 tickets.

Well the first two things I can deal with....and all I can say about the lady is yea she was doing her job...but i hope she drives home and gets a flat tire.

Like Kona says big hammers and T&C Swimgrubs did the job. The only colors I got bit on were darker green colors: spotty specials, motor oils, christmas tree's etc. I was using hot sauce but it was hard to apply at times because it was so cold.

Things that paid off today: Konas fish finder that did a great job helping us find good structure to fish (although he didn't even need it at times cause he knows the harbor pretty well). There were a few times it picked up baitfish or bigger fish and draggin out lures through that zone paid off.

All in all it was a pretty cool day on the water and Konas a cool guy thats fun to fish with. I ended up with 3 hali's, two spotties and a sand bass. Yea he got skunked but it was all luck for the most part, most of the fish were caught with out lures right near eachother....I guess the fish gods wanted to hook me up today...he'll get his turn next time with a nice fat legal hali. Plus he acted like a guide today with that bad ass fish finder....zoning me on good areas that I normally would have passed up.

Again thanks for postkn pics and the good time man, we'll get at it again soon.

Same here man....tons of possibilities. Lets make it happen.

when should we do this and how do we get prizes should I hit up the companies for hand outs I've never hosted one but I'm willing and able

let jeff know what you have in mind and he will tell you how to go about it

cool i'm working on the food with my wife you guys like hawaiian food thanks ed will do

make it easier on your self and make it a pot luck and make a list so you know how many people will attend so you do waste time and money and guys will pitch in like crazy to help out you will see people add to the pot for prizes and food to bring it all falls together we have had some great gatherings and great food lol
