DVL report coming soon

Well fellas im out here at dv waiting in line its 550 let's hope for a productive day meeting fisher and tubbin out here hope to see some big fish will kepp you all posted

I want real time, live reports from the lake! After every fish you catch i better hear a report! Good luck out there...

Live reports that would be cool, did I read that right he is tubbin DVL. I did not think you could tube DVL am I wrong and if so I need to get my rear out there.

I'm under the same impression when it comes to DVL

No cant tube he meet fisher n I out there... Well I ended up with a skunk fer the day not even a follower I guess thats why its called fishin n not catchin lol... Headcase did good but I let him share with u guys.

sorry guy no live report service is sketchy in there and no we where not tubbin dvl we where hoofin it. well it was a real slow day on the water not many trout to be spotted. one guy to the right of us had caught a couple off a mini jig tried that with no luck. the whole morning we had chunks of mackeral out there that didnt get a nibble from at least what we wanted mr stripey. Birds!!!!!!!!!!! and they kept teasing us by eating our bait. man what a pisser it is when you see your rod start twitching then bend and you hooked a bird. a older guy came down and started fishing with us and he was using sardines. i guess thats what was on there menue because he got to and lost two and our mac never seen a sniff. well the guy was cool hooked it up on a couple peices of deens and no luck still birds. well as im not paying attention to my mac rod me and fisher both hear that wonderful noise there goes the drag!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MR. Stripey on!!!! fight him in a bit and land him 2-3lb and there she does it Fish tacos! well that was it for the day for us this happend around 12 30 and nothing after that so we surrender the spot and leave for the evening I pretty darn happy with my catch for the day. and man those srtiper can burn some drag[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Nice fish. Never caught stripers, but it seems like the same setup as catfish? I camp at Lake San Antonio every year during the summer so I'm taking notes and hope to catch some on the tube this summer.

They would be a blast from the tube, if you get in to the big guys you better hold on tight.

Yea you'd go for a ride! Back in the east coast the kayakers call it a "nantucket sleigh ride". Nantucket is part of cape cod, Ma....and a great fishing area. Hooking into a 20+pound fish would be crazy from the tube.

There is a video on You Tube of a guy catching a sturgon and then getting into a float tube it is a good laugh I will look for it.
