The prowler is nice but I think for that kind of money I would look into moving up from a tube to a small pontoon boat just for the factor that you can kick or row your self around.

I thought the same thing and tried a pontoon and hated it. First the rowing is pretty much useless because you really don't get far when you row. I think it's because it's too high. The 2nd problem is you can't row and fish anyway. Then you loose all portability because the pontoons are so big you need either an open bed truck or trailor to transport them and then you need a 2nd person to carry it because they are so big and heavy.

In my opinion they are no real advantages of getting a tube over a small rib.

I agree. Why drop that kinda dough and still have to deal with air bladders? Unless you score a good deal on it. I keep thinking if I am going to spend that amount it would be prudent to just go a couple bills more and get a Scadden. But running those Fish Cat bladders in my 420 is really working out. So maybe take the money and go on a tuna charter this summer and just stay with the tube I own. Like a Star @ heaven
