Hey guys i'm about to be in the market for a boat and wanted to pick your guys brains. I think i pretty much have what I want figured out but would appreciate some more input.

Basically i'm looking for something in the 15-17 ft range, as it has to fit in my 20' garage. I think I would prefer a fiberglass boat but would be willing to look at an aluminum one. Would prefer a center console but i'm not set on that. 4 stroke is of course a plus but not required as most use would be in the salt. As for the engine i'm think 40-60 hp depending on the size of the boat. Looking to spend about 4k.

I found the perfect boat on craigslist already but the lady never responded. If you know anyone or see anything let me know. I appreciate it.

A skiff would be ok... I want something I can actually take out of three harbor on a calm day. I'm looking to spend around 4k.

Let me ask around. Maybe a carolina skiff?

A skiff would be ok...lol. Look up an arima sea sprinter. That's pretty much perfect. A whaler would work too but they are typically overpriced because of the name.

Overpriced and would prefer something bigger.

It has a 4 stroke on it....means you can use it on freshwater too!

Fully rigged...not a bad price. Bet the guy would take $3k

That guy has been trying to sell that for a few weeks now. Doubt he's in a huge rush since he hasn't dropped the price.

Do you want to go in halves on that? Might be kind of hard to pull a fish up a 100 feet though.
