Do any of you ultralight guys know of a manufacturer (other than Vicious) that makes a quality 2 lb test monofilament fishing line in a hi-vis fluorescent color? Blue, yellow or green?

Hi Jeff. Talked to a few buddies up in Big Bear that own houses up there, also fishing for panfish near the bridge. They said they use Cortland Hi-Vis Ice Mono Lines that they either purchase through eBay or Amazon during sales. They are pretty happy with the lines. You might like to check up on it.

Yeah, I've used Maxima, and though it's a good line, the diameter is not as small as I'd like and it is not hi-vis. Stren no longer has a 2 lb line, at least that's what I was told. Someone said that you can use a fluorescent marker to brighten up your line. Might check it out.

You may want to check into p-line cx. It's not hi-vis but it's easy to see and it's flo coated.
