AWSOME!!!

I saw a hawk of some sort snag a fish a few years ago while I was fishing Anaheim lake...funniest thing I ever saw. The hawk flew down between two anchored boats full of people fishing for trout, snagged a nice 5+ pounder and flew off!

Man thats awesome! What i wanna know is how the cameraman knew which fish it was gonna take for the underwater shot. Its almost like they caught it then threw it in the water for the osprey to see and started to record lol

I sat at a local puddle all day for trout. Tried everything and just could not get a bite. 3 feet in front of me and Osprey swooped down and snagged a trout. I guess I was fishing too deep. It was awesome. It was discouraging.

Hey Guys,
Best one I ever saw was at Castaic, when an Osprey stole a planter trout from a cormorant, right out of it's mouth. Karma Baby.

i have seen this alot up at lake shasta when I was up. We would be fishing off the house boat or shore and see B.E fly down to the water and fly away with a good 2-3lb fish. It really cool to see

Great video! It shows how awesome nature is and how we should cherish it. I have seen the red tail hawks pick trout out of Miramar resevoir and Lake Jennings during the early morning hours. It is definitely something you do not see every day. Since we tube and toon here is another "amazing sight to see"

cool video. There was a video a while back where an eagle would claw a mountain goats just enough to make it fall and then go down and eat the carcass. Amazing birds!

Birds of prey are totally awesome to watch. Did you notice he was a banded bird ? Stopped the video and counted the trout on that first snag. He got 4 in that one grab. Me thinks that lake to be slighly over populated and under fished. We should over to help them with that ,,,

You can bro just grow out those toe nails and work on your hang gliding skills Very Happy

Nothing like float tubing a lake and throwing everything you have in your trout arsenal and still not landing anything... just to have a bird come down next to you and pull out a 4+ pounder.
