Well my buddy and I late last night got the wise idea of fishin after a good night of drinkin(doesnt it always happen that way) so we decided to hit up canyon lake at 430 this morning.......man did i even get to sleep. first off we go to the launch ramp and as we are unloading i go to feel the water temp my toe doesnt even touch the waters edge befor i go flippin into the drink slipped on a narl algae cover all over the ramp was like trying to climb out of ice so after that little blooper we finaly get kicken and i cast out my go to bait for the day tick tick boom.....oh never mind i missed that one but hey good sign got hit thirty seconds on the first cast! well that excitement disapated because i did not get another hit for more than an hour after that............alright alright ill fast forward to the catchin so after a long kick thoughr some docks and along a wall we decide to cross the lake and hit the campground well good thing we did i cross get posted up and cast now this time its fish on!!!!!!!!! pulled out this nice chunker[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] probably runnin 1.5 lb send her to the depths cast back out and bam!!! got me a clone another 1.5[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] so i do the same thing all over again release her to the depths cast it right into the same spot and...well you guessed itbam another!!!! 3 cast 3 fish im pumped now so we are makeing our way around i drift off into my own direction messin around and i get the real Tick Tick Boom!!!!!!! Fish on and shes a good one [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and of course i was all alone had to manage the pics on my own put her up next to my leg so you can see her size she was most likely pushin 4 lbs so after that one i yell to my buddy that the bite was pretty good in that area we pound out a couple more dinks and decide to go back and on the way back we hit up the same spot i pulled off my triple play i cast and like clock work boom[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] got my self another outta the same spot!! so we are kicking back to the ramp im fishing between two docks and get hit pretty good but didnt stick so i decide to turn around and go back though good thing i did cast and start reelin and i feel the slightest tap i mean ive had gills hit harder i feel a little tension set the hook and its game on[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] after she gave me a few runs under the tube i get her in[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] another nice one pushin three well after that we where done and it was time to battle the slime and get out all in all it was a great day on the water and oh yeah you salty guys better hope they dont bite this well on the 16 or it will be Game Over!!! j/k thanks for reading guys "TEAM FRESHWATER"
