Dinks in Laguna Lake

I was able to head over to Laguna Lake with my youngest son today at about 4pm to 5:30pm. I managed 2 decent bass small but they are hitting hard right now . DS roboworms 5" Aron's Magic both were caught on the fall. We both had a blast I am hoping to do some more fishing there with him soon before the bite dry's up.
So no pic's just had my cell phone they don't come through big enough.

I was there this morning only got one , on a senko.

Then some guy started yelling at me that I had to fish 20 yards away from him,
All I did was ask him if he caught any and he flipped out. Once in a while I see some weirdos at that lake

Taking your son fishing jeff, is always quality time. As he gets older and becomes a man it will be something he will always remember and eventually tell his son about should he have one.
To this day I remember the fishing trips in the mud and rain my old man dragged me on.
And my son tells his son about experiences he had fishing with me when he was a boy.

Being an "old guy" I could tell you guys some great stories about that little lake. Used to be called Bastenchury Lake. It's where I learned how to fish. Lived nearby, so went fishing almost every day. Cut high school to stay and fish all day several times. Had some big bass and crappie in it and later big channel cats (that we stocked from overflowing Lake Irvine in 1969).

hmmm... might check luguna out this weekend since my puddingstone fishing guide is on restriction. lol.
