Decided to get back to LMB and headed out to the lake. For a Thursday there were 7-8 float tubers on the water.
I decided that I was going to catch fish on the jig-n-pig and ending up with two nice ones. I had forgotten my scale but both were 5+.
The first one was caught in 25'-30' and the second was 35'. The bite seemed to crank up after 12:00 and a local guide out there, Pete Marino, was catching a lot of smaller ones on ice jigs and DS. The water was 73^ in the morning warming up to 74^ later.
There were guys throwing big swim baits and on the way in a guy has a 10.4 pound LMB attached to his stringer. I wish he had released it but that is up to him.
The first one of the day with his right eye blinded.

Look for the bait balls and drop an ice jig or j-n-p and hook up. Not too much longer and I will have to get the waders out.
