Quickie @ La Mirada 11.26.12

Today i had about a half hour to burn so i headed to the closest fishing hole near me, La Mirada Lake. Only had the trout gear with me, so i rigged it up on the ds and baited a powerworm in search for some stockers.

Ended up hooking this little guy. Had a few more short bites and then had to leave.

Yeah, fishing swimming pools kind of cool. I'll be going back soon. Seems like a great stocking lake for trout.

Seems like there's nothing but dinks in there. See anything big in there?

My profile pic with the fish is there, but I have caught some toads out of there, the lake is 4ft deep with a lot of crap on the bottom. I lose something every time I go. Give me a heads up next time you go.

Wow, that's a nice one. I'll be going back again soon now that I know there some nice ones in there. Not Sure when I'll be going back, but i will hit you up when i do.

yeah, i noticed all the crap at the bottom of the lake when i try to texas rig.

Tight lines bro. I was fishing the "orange peel" powerworm at La Mirada which seemed to work the best.

Heard that Downey Wilderness and Cerritos receives stocks on wednesdays so I'll be hitting Downey tomorrow afternoon to check out the action.
